Franchise Q&A
Q Do dessert items have to be made from scratch in the store every day?
To make operations easy for franchise owners, PICK BAKE provides an efficient system of carefully selected dough and finished products from head office. You can serve high-quality desserts with minimal steps, which reduces labor costs and keeps the taste consistent.Q How are marketing and after-opening support handled?
We support social media promotion and online/offline marketing at opening, and help you keep growing sales through regular new menu launches and visits from your dedicated supervisor.Q How long does it take to open a store after signing the franchise contract?
After the location is selected, it takes an average of 3–5 weeks, including interior construction, training and licensing.Q What are the cost ratio (ingredients) and profit margin?
PICK BAKE maintains a competitive cost ratio through an efficient logistics system. Profit margins vary with each store’s rent, labor and other conditions, but because desserts carry a high average spend, the profit structure is more favorable than a typical drink-focused café.Q How much does it cost to open a PICK BAKE store?
Startup costs include the franchise fee, training, interior, kitchen equipment and fixtures, and vary with store size. We will explain a detailed estimate during your consultation.Q I have no experience running a café. Can a beginner open a store?
Yes. PICK BAKE runs a structured head office training program (theory, menu preparation, service and more). Before and after opening, a dedicated supervisor passes on hands-on training and operating know-how, so first-time owners can run the store with confidence.Q What is the minimum store size?
Small takeout-focused stores are possible from around 20 pyeong (approx. 66㎡), and for a dessert café with seating we recommend 20–30 pyeong or more. We will propose the best size for your trade area and location.Q I don’t have a store yet. Can you help with trade area analysis?
Yes. Our head office trade area analysis team considers your preferred area and budget, analyzes foot traffic, nearby households, competitors and more, and then recommends the best location.
